Peter has appeared before all levels of the Bulgarian courts acting on behalf of numerous insured persons in their claims against insurance companies concerning rejections for payment of compensations across the full range of insured perils, including Motorists Third Party Liability and motor vehicles insurances, accident and illness insurance, industrial fire. Peter has acted in many complex and high value matters involving multiple parties. He also has a wealth of experience in successfully negotiating on behalf of clients in court connected or private settlements.

On the insurer’s side, Peter has particular experience in, amongst others, defending of a major Bulgarian insurer in a number of claims, among others a carrier’s liability insurance claim and insurance fraud related claims amounting to over EUR 1.5 million and EUR 750 thousand. In addition, during his career at Bulstrad Insurance Company, he has dealt with a broad range of regulatory matters.

Peter has specialist knowledge in draft insurance policy wording and interpretation.
